This comprehensive guide outlines the operational standards, technical specifications, and local logistical tips you need to maximize your cinematic experience in Yonkers for 2026.
Location Logistics and Regional Accessibility
Getting to the multiplex within the Cross County Center is straightforward due to its central Westchester location. However, navigating parking lots during peak weekend hours requires a strategic approach.
The shopping center offers thousands of surface parking spaces, but proximity to the theater entrance varies. Utilize the parking zones adjacent to the multiplex wing to minimize walking distance, especially during inclement weather.
Transportation and Parking Tips: Optimal Parking Zones: Park near the south-central sections of the mall perimeter closest to the cinema entrance for direct access. Public Transit Connections: The Bee-Line bus system operates multiple routes (such as the 4, 7, and 20) directly stopping at Cross County Center, connecting riders from the Yonkers Metro-North station and surrounding neighborhoods. Ride-Share Drop-Off: Designated rideshare zones are clearly marked near the main mall arteries to facilitate seamless drop-offs and pickups without bottlenecking traffic lanes.

Ticketing, Pricing Structures, and Loyalty Programs
Securing tickets in advance has shifted from a convenience to a necessity for major Friday night releases and holiday premieres. Utilizing official mobile apps or verified box-office kiosks allows patrons to lock in optimal sightlines—typically located in the center rows, two-thirds back from the screen.
Digital Ticketing Best Practices
- Reserve Early: Prime middle-center recliners sell out days in advance for blockbuster opening weekends.
- Third-Party Caution: Purchase directly through official theater channels to avoid inflated reseller fees and to ensure validity during sold-out screenings.
- Dynamic Pricing & Matinees: Morning and early afternoon shows offer substantial ticket discounts, making daytime screenings an economical alternative.
Membership and Rewards Perks
Frequent visitors benefit significantly by enrolling in the theater's loyalty program. Standard tiers typically offer free online ticketing fee waivers, points accrual per dollar spent on concessions and tickets, and access to exclusive member-only screening events. Upgraded premium tiers often include free annual popcorn refills, expedited concession lines, and dedicated customer service channels.
Concession Stand Upgrades and Dining Partnerships
The era of plain popcorn and boxed candy is long gone. Modern multiplex venues feature expanded culinary footprints that cater to diverse dietary preferences and sophisticated palates.
Patrons can choose from traditional snack items or explore hot food menus featuring gourmet burgers, artisanal flatbreads, loaded nachos, and customized pretzel bites. Furthermore, many locations feature fully integrated bars serving craft beers, signature wine selections, and themed movie cocktails for adult patrons.
Concession Efficiency Strategies: Mobile Ordering: Use the theater application to order food ahead of time, allowing you to skip the physical queue and pick up your items at a dedicated express counter. Dietary Accommodations: Vegan, gluten-free, and allergen-informed snack options are increasingly available; inquire at the concession counter for specific nutritional disclosures. Outside Food Policies: Be aware that standard industry guidelines generally prohibit outside food and beverages, though exceptions are frequently made for infant care items and verified medical needs.
