Ultimate Guide To The NFL On SiriusXM In 2026: Channels, Features, And Streaming Options

Listening to professional football on satellite and streaming radio has evolved significantly, making the NFL on SiriusXM an essential subscription for die-hard fans during the 2026 season. Whether you are commuting, working, or traveling away from a television screen, SiriusXM provides comprehensive coverage of every regular-season matchup, playoff battle, and Super Bowl LX.

Channel Lineup and Frequency Guide for the 2026 NFL Season

Navigating the audio dial during a busy Sunday afternoon requires knowing the exact channel assignments. SiriusXM dedicates specific bandwidth to ensure that every game has a dedicated home without audio overlap.

• The Featured Hub: Channel 88 serves as the primary 24/7 home for NFL Radio, featuring expert analysis, breaking news, injury reports, and daily talk shows hosted by former players, coaches, and league insiders.
• Team-Specific Channels: Every single NFL franchise is assigned a permanent channel within the 222 through 254 range for home broadcasts, as well as distinct availability on the SiriusXM mobile application.
• National Broadcasts: Westwood One handles the primary national broadcast feeds, available on dedicated channels such as Channel 85 for Monday Night Football, Thursday Night Football, and Sunday Night Football matchups.

Comparing SiriusXM Subscription Tiers for Football Fans

Choosing the right subscription plan determines whether you can access games directly from your dashboard or if you need to rely on your smartphone device.

Important Equipment Consideration: Standard vehicle factory radios installed in older models may only receive satellite signals up to specific channel thresholds. Modern vehicle receivers and the SiriusXM streaming app unlock the complete digital roster of all 32 team broadcasts simultaneously.

• Streaming Platinum Plan: Designed for users who want total access across mobile devices, smart TVs, and connected home speakers. This tier includes all NFL play-by-play audio feeds, coach press conferences, and historical archives.
• Platinum Vehicle and Streaming Plan: Offers the ultimate hybrid experience, integrating satellite reception directly into your car's head unit while retaining full app access for mobile listening.
• Music and Entertainment Plan: Focuses primarily on music channels and basic talk programming. This tier generally restricts live NFL play-by-play game audio, making it less suitable for dedicated football enthusiasts unless upgraded.

Step-by-Step Guide to Accessing NFL Games on Your Device

Getting set up to listen to live game broadcasts takes just a few minutes, whether you are utilizing a factory-installed satellite receiver or the modern mobile application interface.

1. Verify Your Active Subscription: Confirm that your current package includes sports play-by-play access. If your account only features basic music tiers, log into your online account portal to modify your subscription.
2. Download the Mobile Application: Install the official SiriusXM application on your iOS or Android device, or ensure your vehicle's navigation system has an active satellite connection.
3. Navigate to the Sports Hub: Tap or select the "Sports" category within the app menu, then choose "NFL" to see a live schedule of ongoing and upcoming games for the day.
4. Select Your Preferred Broadcast Feed: Choose between the home team broadcast, the visiting team broadcast, or the national Westwood One radio call depending on your personal rooting preference.
